Kathleen Parker is an opera singer and singing teacher currently based in Perth, Western Australia. She is currently completing her final year of training at the Australian Opera Studio.
Kathleen offers singing lessons on weekends from her studio in Woodbridge (between Guildford and Midland), WA. She has five years of teaching experience both privately and in schools around Queensland. Beginners are welcome, as are advanced students, and she can help with audition, concert or exam preparation. Children from 8 years old are most welcome to try singing lessons with Kathleen, who has a library full of music kids will love. Having taught at boys schools Kathleen is great with adolescent voices and choosing music appropriate for boys of all ages to sing.
Students can tailor lessons to suit their individual needs (such as dancers who would like to sing cabaret, bands wanting help with their singing skills, actors wishing to study musical theatre or opera). If you have a favourite song, please feel free to bring the sheet music along to your lesson.
